My primary concern has recently been with the lower half of the saucer section. I
've built up from the framework, previously shown and have been working from the inner part,
outward, as you can see in the images below. I used a sanding block, inverted, to help get and
maintain theshape of the saucer section.

I then flipped the sanding block back over and concentrated on the lower lip of the sauver section.

Finally, I come over the side with the sanding block to get that nice angled rim we all want to see.

Though I've made most of the pieces for the kit. I've been going over each one and filling all depressions and valleys and resanding everything to bring it into tolerance. Here's the neck in a state of rework. The parts you see in the background are a second set of masters that are going to be used for the next craft, in the line.

I'm going over each and every piece, to make sure that it checks with the blue print.
