Here's a new part I'm working on, this is the begining of the Impulse engine.In the background you can see a nacelle from the PL kit, sitting next to an unfinished nacelle from this kit.


I've just made the fantail for the engineering section in the next photo. The different colors you see are various levels of bondo, paint, fiberglass and paper, as I sand everything down smooth and relayer everything little by little to get an accurate representation of each part.


Since we have used Alan Sinclairs blueprints as the priamary guide to building our first craft, we've asked Alan's permission to use his name and he's not only granted us the use of his name, but has been so kind as to allow us to call the ship, the USS Sinclair. He's even given us his name on a .gif in the proper font and picked a hull number for the craft. Thus you see the first installment of our decal sheet.


In the picture below, you can see that I've added some screen mesh to the saucer and have coated it with fiberglass
